The diameter of the largest ring is 80mm. Each gyroscope is made of six rings in their team colors. Each ring snaps into place and then rotates freely—they are purposefully made so that it is difficult to dislodge the ring without breaking it, so spin them as fast as you want! In the center of each gyroscope is a volleyball bead suspended on a thick wire that is glued to the smallest ring. The bead rotates freely on the wire so that it spins, as well.
On the outermost ring, I have individually sanded and painted each team’s name and motto, then sprayed a protective finishing coat on the piece.
