These dragon hatchlings hoard the game resources, guarding them as you play, and bin lids have placeholders for coins and cubes, making them perfect player resource trays for during game-play. The card tray helps condense the busy table and allows you to pass around the viewable cards with ease. Bonus: I’ve designed everything to fit in the box!
The resources are: meat, milk jars, gold bars, and purple crystals. The gold bars are printed with shiny pla and the crystals with glitter pla. The milk & meat are printed with normal pla. All are biodegradable, category 7 plastics. Each order includes 30 of each resource (the original game has 25 of each, so I provide a few extra for whenever some get lost).
The dragon hatchling resource bins and their lids/player trays are all printed with shiny & glitter pla! I wanted these precious ones to really stand out. They are about 1 inch tall and just under 4 inches in diameter. gThe lids snap down into place and will stay secure even if stored upside down. Sometimes the connection may feel slightly loose, but even then just slide the lid slightly within its groove, and it will lock into place. Once the bins are opened, the lids can be turned over and used as resource trays. Each lid has a space for 6 silver coins, all the player cubes, and a small open space for extra coins/eggs/resources. Not all eggs & coins will fit in the egg resource tray, but I've never needed more coins than fit and often use an extra bin lid for a second egg bin for the other side of the table. For storage, the extra eggs will fit in one of the bins provided with the game, and I made sure that one bin would fit in the box with all these parts.
The card tray has two parts, each about 7.5 inches wide, 6.5 inches long, and 1 inch tall (with the tray a little over that, and the lid a little under). The tray has 3 slots that are sized for a standard card (like the dragon cards) and two for the square cave cards. I use one of each slot for a discard pile, then store other game parts (like the solo play cards) in them when the game is boxed up. You can set the lid in a slot along the back off the tray, allowing it to stand up for easy viewing: there are slots for the three viewable dragons & caves as you play. The slots have the edges cut in the middle so that you can easily reach in and remove the cards whenever you want one.
